About me

I am Peter Murray, otherwise known as the Artful Bodger.

I make  unique craft products from spoons to Windsor chairs using traditional techniques and tools. I also run courses teaching greenwood working and woodland craft, including spoon carving, stool making, pole lathe turning and chair making.  I  completed a three year Coppice Craft Apprenticeship and now work from a woodland workshop at Abbey Home Farm near Cirencester.

Abbey Home Farm is  a brilliant organic farm, with an award winning organic farm shop and cafe, a range of accommodation options and walks through its 100 acres of woodland.

I help to manage these woodlands and source most of the wood for my courses and products from them.
